      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Make it stand out</image:title>
      <image:caption>Neptune Neptune is a massive, cold, blue ice giant, about four times the size of Earth. It takes 165 years to orbit the Sun, spending around 14 years in each sign, and moves in retrograde each year. A day on Neptune lasts about 16 hours. Because Neptune moves so slowly, it does not operate on a personal level. Neptune has an ethereal quality that is hard to define. In Roman mythology, Neptune rules the ocean, and water cannot be contained. It shifts, dissolves, and escapes form. This is why Neptune is often called the great dissolver. It blurs boundaries and can make things harder to grasp. This is where its complexity comes in. Neptune is deeply spiritual, but it can also bring confusion and illusion, sometimes leading to deception. It can hide things in plain sight. Wherever it sits in the chart, there is often something unseen, something subtle, something that requires awareness to fully understand. Neptune connects us to dreams, imagination, and the unseen layers of reality. That same energy can distort perception. When expressed clearly, it brings creativity and spiritual depth. When distorted, it can lead to escapism, addiction, or losing touch with reality. Neptune is strongly connected to altered states. Liquids, alcohol, drugs, and hallucinogens fall under its domain, as they shift perception and dissolve boundaries. This is also why Neptune is associated with film and other media. They capture something that feels real, even when constructed. Neptune’s influence is subtle but constant. Neptune significations include: Oil and gas, liquids, film and photography, illusion, secrets, beauty, alcohol and drugs, magic, dreams, spirituality.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Uranus</image:title>
      <image:caption>Uranus is also an ice giant composed mainly of water, ammonia, and methane. It takes about 84 years to orbit the Sun, spending roughly 7 years in each sign, with an annual retrograde. A day on Uranus lasts about 17 hours. Like the other outer planets, Uranus does not function on a purely personal level. It operates through the collective, driving generational shifts rather than individual preference. The house shows where that disruption enters your life, but the source remains collective. On a personal level, it brings sudden events, unconventional thinking, and people who act as catalysts. Where Uranus is placed in the chart shows where you can become the disruptor. The one who shifts systems and forces new frameworks into place. An example is Steve Jobs, who had Uranus in Gemini. His influence reshaped how people communicate and interact with technology, turning complex systems into something accessible and widely adopted. In Vedic terms, Uranus parallels Rahu in its disruptive and future oriented qualities, though they are not identical. Both push beyond existing structures. Uranus aligns with Aquarius in Western astrology because both deal with systems and collective change. It breaks tradition and replaces it with something new. Neptune significations include: Innovation, disruption, electricity, lightning, technology, rebellion, sudden change, awakening, nonconformity, collective shifts</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Pluto</image:title>
      <image:caption>Pluto sits far out in our solar system, made up mostly of rock and ice. Even though it is small, it is dense and mysterious. Pluto takes about 248 years to make one full trip around the Sun, which means it spends anywhere from 12 to 30 years in each zodiac sign. A single day on Pluto is about 6.4 Earth days long. There has been a lot of debate about whether Pluto should be called a planet. In 2006, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. In astrology, Pluto works at the deepest layers of a birth chart. Pluto is closely connected to karma that cannot be sidestepped. In Vedic terms, this is similar to Prarabdha Karma, the karma that must unfold in this lifetime. Pluto is an agent of death, whether of the ego, a desire, or anything that has reached its end. Its connection to the 8th house/Scorpio gives it deeply transformative power. It strips away the illusion of control and exposes where attachment exists and where power is misused. Pluto highlights patterns of obsession, manipulation, and the urge to dominate. It is closely tied to power. When misused, that power becomes destructive. An afflicted Pluto can create patterns that drag out the lesson. When aligned, it becomes the ability to release control and use power to empower rather than dominate. Significations: Power, control, surrender, death and rebirth, transformation, obsession, manipulation, shared resources, sex, money, karma, endings, struggle, envy</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Chiron</image:title>
      <image:caption>Chiron isn’t a traditional planet. It’s a small object that travels between Saturn and Uranus. Chiron takes about 50 years to make its way around the Sun, spending several years in each zodiac sign. In Greek mythology, Chiron was a centaur, but he stood apart from the rest. While most centaurs were wild and unpredictable, Chiron was known for his wisdom, healing abilities, and gentle nature. He was respected as a teacher and guide. Yet, even with all his gifts, Chiron carried a wound that never fully healed. In astrology, Chiron points to the places in our lives where pain shapes our awareness. These are patterns that tend to repeat until we finally understand them. Over time, the wound that Chiron represents can become a powerful source of wisdom. Chiron highlights the areas where you might feel different, exposed, or like you don’t quite fit in. Sometimes, it points to early experiences that leave a lasting impression and shape how you see yourself. As you grow, this pain can shift from something private to something you use to help others. The guidance you offer comes from lived experience. Unlike Pluto, which transforms through intensity, or Uranus, which shakes things up, Chiron works quietly through awareness. The house where Chiron sits in your chart shows where this wound lives and where the real work of understanding and healing happens. Significators: wound, sensitivity, vulnerability, teaching, wisdom gained through experience, repeating patterns, integration, and guidance.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Lilith</image:title>
      <image:caption>Lilith is also a calculated point in the chart, not a physical body in the sky. It is based on the Moon’s orbit. More specifically, it marks where the Moon is farthest from Earth. According to Jewish folklore, Lilith was created as Adam’s equal, not his subservient. She left the Garden of Eden rather than submit and was later cast out and demonized. In modern astrology, this story is reframed as the refusal to submit and the reclamation of personal power. Lilith represents raw, unfiltered energy. It shows the parts of you that will not compromise under pressure. It points to where you reject control and push back against authority. It can also show where you experience rejection or exclusion. The house Lilith occupies shows where autonomy is non negotiable. Where you will not submit, even if it costs you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Western Outer Planets and Points - Midhaven</image:title>
      <image:caption>The Midheaven is not a physical body in the sky. It is a calculated point used in Western astrology. It marks the highest point in the chart and represents the most public part of your life. This placement shows career, reputation, life direction, and public image. It sits at the 10th house cusp and reflects long term ambition. From this point, how you handle authority and the legacy you leave behind can be seen. The Midheaven can be understood as a birds eye view of the chart. It reflects the buildup of everything before it. What develops through the earlier houses becomes visible here. For example, Nostradamus is often associated with prophecy, vision, and foresight. A Midheaven in Sagittarius reflects themes of truth seeking, expansion, and sharing knowledge with a wide audience. His reputation aligns with those qualities. His name became linked to prediction and belief systems that reach beyond the immediate world. It shows what becomes known about you: the ideas, roles, or identity that attach to your name over time.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path One: The Leader</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you are on Life Path 1, you keep ending up in situations where someone has to make the first move. Surprise, it’s you! You’ll notice a pattern of being the one who decides, starts, initiates, leads, or speaks up while everyone else is just chilling. The flip side is that this can turn into doing everything alone. You get so used to being the starter that you stop expecting anyone else to jump in. This is where frustration can build because it feels like the pressure always lands on you. Even when other people could help, you struggle to let them. Sometimes the courage you start with turns into isolation. When that happens, leadership begins to feel like a burden instead of a strength. When this pattern is balanced, you understand that you can still make the first move, but you don’t have to do everything alone. You start things, then let other people step in and stand next to you instead of behind you. You’ll feel much lighter when you’re not carrying everyone. You open doors and let others walk through with you.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Two: The Peacemaker</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you’re a Life Path 2, you’re basically the emotional Wi-Fi in the room. You pick up on tension before anyone even says a word. You know who’s feeling awkward, who’s hurting, and who just needs a little kindness. You’re the glue that keeps people together, the one who smooths out the rough edges and makes sure everyone feels like they belong. Sometimes you get so wrapped up in everyone else’s feelings that you forget about your own. You’ll dodge conflict just to keep the peace, even if it means swallowing what’s bothering you. Making decisions is challenging because you see every angle and don’t want to disappoint anyone. If you’re not careful, you end up carrying everyone’s emotional baggage and wondering why nobody is noticing you’re tired. When you start honoring your own needs, connection doesn’t turn into disappearing. You can still read the room and care about harmony, but you also get to say what’s on YOUR mind. You help everyone find common ground, and this time, you’re standing on it too.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Three: The Creator</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you’re on Life Path 3, you know what it’s like to end up center stage. This pattern happens even when you swore you’d blend into the background. Somehow, you keep getting tossed into situations where you need to use your voice. The universe keeps nudging you to express yourself, whether that’s through talking, creating, making people laugh, or just letting your personality shine. Your mind is always three steps ahead of your hands. Ideas pop up before you’ve even finished the last one. Your focus bounces around, and you’ve probably got a collection of half-finished projects. Anytime you start worrying about what people will think, that easy, creative flow can freeze up or spiral into overthinking. But when you finally catch that wave and ride it all the way in, your creativity is a force to be reckoned with. You still have all that spark and range, but being balanced allows you stick with one idea long enough to turn it into something magical. When that magic becomes more than flashes of brilliance, you start building things people can come back to and enjoy over and over.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Four: The Builder</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you’re on Life Path 4, you’re the person everyone turns to when things fall apart. You take what’s broken and turn it into something strong. You have the ability to calmly put everything back in order when it's reached total chaos. Life often gives you the raw materials, expecting you to build something that stands the test of time. Sometimes all that structure turns into a trap. You end up doing things the hard way just because it’s familiar. Routine can feel like a cage instead of a safety net. You may see change as a threat. You’re the reliable one, but carrying so much can sneak up on you, turning into straight up exhaustion. When you get this energy in balance, you become the master of building strong foundations without locking yourself in a box. You let change work for you, not against you. Suddenly, all that steady effort that used to feel heavy is what actually holds everything up. The things you build last.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Five: The Explorer</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you have Life Path 5, your life is full of constant movement. Things often change around you. You get restless quickly when life feels too predictable. New options, people, and directions often appear when you start to feel stuck. You are meant to experience life firsthand rather than just watching from the sidelines. The challenge is that you can feel pulled in many directions at once. When everything seems exciting, it’s easy to try a bit of everything without fully committing to anything. This can lead to impulsive decisions, unfinished plans, and sudden changes. Instead of feeling free, you might start to feel scattered. You may notice a pattern of almost finishing things, always moving but not always making progress. But when you learn to ride this wave, everything shifts. You still crave change, but now you’re steering the ship instead of just drifting. You pick your destination, then let the adventure unfold as you go. Variety becomes your co-pilot and not a distraction. You stay curious and open, but you’ve got your eyes on the prize, so every new twist in the road actually moves you forward instead of sending you back to square one.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Six: The Nurturer</image:title>
      <image:caption>Life Path 6 has a clear pattern. People turn to you for help, advice, comfort, or stability. You’re the friend everyone calls when things fall apart and the family member others count on to hold things together. You naturally end up as the caretaker. You don’t seek out this role, it just seems to find you. The downside is that you can end up carrying everyone else while neglecting yourself. You become so used to being dependable that your own needs get pushed aside. Over time, you might feel resentment or exhaustion. If this pattern continues, giving turns into overgiving, and love can start to feel like a burden. The magic happens when you let support flow both ways. You’re still there for your people, but you also let yourself be cared for. You start to see that guarding your time and energy is what keeps your heart soft and open. The best version of this path is steady and gentle warmth. When you do, you will no longer burn yourself out for everyone else.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Seven: The Seeker</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you’re a Life Path 7, you’re the one who slips away from the crowd to listen to the quiet. You’re drawn to the strange and mystical. All the things most people overlook. While everyone else is happy skimming the surface, you want to dive deep. You ask the big questions and find your own answers. Alone time isn’t lonely for you, it’s when your mind and intuition come alive. The downside comes when you get lost in your own thoughts. It’s easy to step back, watch, and analyze life rather than really live it with others. You might start to feel separate, as if you’re watching the world instead of being part of it. When that happens, your insight stays internal and becomes overthinking rather than wisdom. When you find your balance, you bring all that inner magic back to the surface. You explore mystical things most people miss, and then you turn those discoveries into words and ideas that can help others. Connection will no longer water down your depth. You’re at your best when your search for meaning becomes something you can share.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Eight: The Executive</image:title>
      <image:caption>Life Path 8 often puts you in situations where others rely on you to get things done. You’re given responsibility, resources, or authority and expected to turn them into measurable outcomes. This path will continue to test how you handle power, success, and control. That drive to get things done can end up feeling like a weight. Suddenly, it’s like everything is riding on your shoulders, and you’re the one who has to push harder than anyone else just to keep up. You might end up overworking or micromanaging every little thing. You may measure your value by how much you achieve or earn. When that happens, success doesn’t feel good. You may make the people around you feel like they’re being managed instead of supported. When you learn to work with this energy, you still aim high, but you lead with steady confidence rather than sheer willpower. You start building things that last by letting other people step in and share the load. Your authority becomes a source of stability, not just for you but for everyone around you. That’s when your ambition turns into something real that people can count on.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Nine: The Humanitarian</image:title>
      <image:caption>With Life Path 9, you’re the kind of person who stands back and sees the whole bigger picture. Small details do not trip you up. It’s like you’re watching life from the top of a hill, seeing how everyone’s paths cross and connect. While most people get caught up in the day-to-day, you’re tuned in to the deeper meaning underneath it all. Your superpower is empathy that can actually do something. You want to ensure no one gets left behind. It can get tricky because sometimes you feel like it’s your job to keep everyone okay, even if it costs you your own peace. If you hold on to things that are already finished, your energy gets tangled up in the past. The universe keeps nudging you to let go of what’s done, so you can put your heart into what’s still alive and shifting. When you lean into this path, you become the bridge that brings people together. You let things end without calling them failures, trusting that every ending is just space for something new to grow. Your compassion isn’t just for one person; it can ripple out to whole communities. You help people feel like they belong.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Eleven: The Visionary</image:title>
      <image:caption>If you have Life Path 11, you often get original ideas that seem to come out of nowhere. You don’t just think of new things, you notice possibilities before there’s any proof they’ll work. You’ll probably notice that life keeps handing you moments where you have to stand by your wild ideas. This can be challenging because almost everyone else is playing it safe. You’re the one in the group saying, ‘What if we tried this instead?’ or tossing out a solution no one’s ever tested. It can feel a little lonely at first, especially when people hesitate or give you that side eye for being different. Remember that your job isn’t to wait for a round of applause. It’s to keep shaping your vision until it’s strong enough to stand on its own. The big lesson here? Inspiration is only magic if you actually do something with it. When you stick with your vision long enough to bring it into fruition, you’re the one lighting the way forward. Your path is about showing everyone that the unknown is worth exploring.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Twenty-Two: The Manifestor</image:title>
      <image:caption>Life Path 22 carries a strong sense of inner knowing that something can exist simply because you want it to. You don’t just imagine outcomes, you will them into being. There’s often a quiet certainty behind your desires, like the future has already been chosen and you’re pulling it closer through focus and intention. The challenge is realizing that willpower by itself isn’t enough. Sometimes, it might seem like things should work out as soon as you set your intention. But life often asks you to back up your vision with real effort. For you, making things happen is about sticking with the work even after the excitement wears off. If progress slows, you might get frustrated because you expect things to keep moving on their own. When you find your rhythm, your intentions and actions start working together. Manifestation stops being a one-time thing and becomes a way of life. Every choice you make, every step you take, adds power to what you’re building. Then you’re not just wishing for change, you’re rolling up your sleeves and shaping your world.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - What’s Your Life Path Number? - Life Path Thirty-Three: The Teacher</image:title>
      <image:caption>Life Path 33 is about alignment between what you say and how you live. You are naturally drawn to ideas about growth, integrity, healing, and higher standards, but your real work is internal. Life keeps asking you to live the principles you encourage in others. You are here to close the gap between wisdom and behavior by walking the walk. The challenge is that it’s easy to give advice you haven’t truly taken to heart. You might inspire and encourage others, but sometimes you don’t follow your own advice. This can lead to frustration and make you feel out of touch with your own message, or stuck in a cycle of helping others without growing yourself. Teaching is most effective when it comes from personal experience. When you’re fully aligned, people can see it. You start giving yourself the same patience, compassion, and honesty you give to everyone else. That’s when your influence gets real, because people notice your example, not just your advice.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Words of Affirmation</image:title>
      <image:caption>If words of affirmation is your love language, then validation is what matters. You feel loved when appreciation is said out loud, not assumed. And on a slightly spicy note, a lot of so called ‘good boys and girls’ fall into this category. Compliments stick, but criticism sticks too. It’s important for appreciation to be expressed not just when things are perfect, but when effort is being made. Saying appreciation out loud helps these people feel loved and secure, while careless criticism can have lasting effects on how they see not only their partners, but themselves. When conflict comes up, words and tone both matter. A harsh delivery can make these individuals shut down, even if the message itself is reasonable. Feeling safe in communication is key here. It does not have to be dramatic love letters or romantic speeches every day. Small verbal gestures go a long way. A genuine thank you or a simple ‘I’m proud of you’ can mean everything.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Quality Time</image:title>
      <image:caption>Quality time is about being together. But a lot of time together means nothing if you’re not actually attentive. And that’s the key word here, attention. Being on your phone, multitasking, or constantly checking the clock is not quality time. You probably don’t care about grand plans or long stretches of time as much as you care about focus. For you, quality time is about feeling chosen in the moment. It’s the difference between someone sitting next to you versus someone being with you. One on one conversations, shared experiences, and intentional plans matter because they show effort and presence. You feel most connected when someone is engaged. The lesson here is that quality time is less about quantity and more about intention. You don’t need nonstop attention, but you do need sincerity. When someone shows up mentally and emotionally, even briefly, it fills your cup. When they don’t, no amount of togetherness can make up for it.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Acts of Service</image:title>
      <image:caption>Unlike words of affirmation, if acts of service is your love language, words don’t carry much weight. Action is what matters here. You would rather someone get up and do something without being asked than sit around talking about it. For you, follow through is how care is shown. It doesn’t have to be a big gesture. What matters is when someone notices what needs to be done and does it. Taking something off your plate, handling a task, or following through on what they said they would do. That’s what makes you feel valued. With this love language, effort speaks louder than intention. Promises are fine, but consistency is what builds trust. Just be careful not to fall into the habit of doing everything yourself and calling it love. Acts of service only work when effort goes both ways</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Physical Touch</image:title>
      <image:caption>Physical touch is the home of stage five clingers. LOL. Just kidding. Kind of. For you, physical touch is what makes you feel loved. Unlike quality time, physical touch people can enjoy doing their own thing, as long as their partner is nearby. Being close matters. That’s where intimacy registers for you. You feel valued when there is consistent affection. When someone pulls away or starts feeling distant, it can create doubt fast. It’s not that you need constant smothering attention, but steady connection. Touch for you should feel mutual and consistent, not something you have to chase or ask for. Holding hands, frequent hugs, sitting close, cuddling on the couch, those are the things that actually fill your heart.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Receiving Gifts</image:title>
      <image:caption>If receiving gifts is your love language, you want to feel pampered. It’s not that you want a sugar daddy or mommy because it’s not about the money. It’s about being thought of. You feel loved when someone sees something and thinks of you without being prompted. The gift itself matters less than the intention behind it. Even picked flowers can be a huge gesture to you. Gifts in your eyes are proof of attention. They say you were remembered, considered, noticed. A favorite snack, a random surprise, something that shows they know you. When effort disappears here, it can feel like you’re slipping out of someone’s awareness, even if that’s not what they meant.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Let’s Talk Love Languages - Feeling Known</image:title>
      <image:caption>This is the newest addition and some people consider it valid, some don’t, so its legitimacy is debatable. In my opinion, feeling known is often a result of receiving your preferred love language consistently, though I do see how it can stand on its own. Feeling known is the love language of being truly understood. This love language is about being seen in your most raw and vulnerable state and still being accepted. You want someone who actually understands who you are beneath the surface, not just the version of you that is easy or pleasant. With the right person, you don’t feel the need to explain yourself over and over or soften your edges to be understood. You feel recognized as you are. When someone truly knows you, love feels steady because you’re not constantly trying to earn it or prove yourself worthy of it.</image:caption>

When it isn’t, it causes damage fast. <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Surya in Jyotish - In Vedic mythology, the Sun is known as Surya, the king. He’s often shown riding a golden chariot pulled by seven horses. Those horses are tied to the colors of the rainbow and the energetic channels we call the chakras.</image:title>

      <image:title>Kashner's Vault Blog - Vedic vs Western Astrology - Because Earth slowly wobbles on its axis, a motion known as the precession of the equinoxes, the position of the constellations has gradually shifted over thousands of years. As a result, the tropical and sidereal zodiacs no longer align.</image:title>
      <image:caption>The difference between the two systems is now about twenty-four degrees. In practical terms, if your Sun is at 15° Aries in Western astrology, it will fall around 21° Pisces in Vedic astrology. The constellations have not moved; our point of reference has. In my opinion, this is why prediction-based astrology, when viewed through the Western system, often has a lower percentage of accuracy.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Aries: Carrie White</image:title>
      <image:caption>I know Aries Moons are stereotyped as hot headed and aggressive, but Carrie is a great example of what happens when anger is suppressed. For most of the story, Carrie isn't allowed to express herself. She's bullied at school, controlled at home, and taught to fear her instincts. Every humiliation is swallowed instead of dealt with. Then comes prom. The famous ending isn't about revenge to me. It's about years of rage, hurt, humiliation, and powerlessness reaching a breaking point. Everything she's been carrying (see what I did there) pours out all at once. The result feels so devastating because there was never a healthy outlet for those feelings in the first place.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Taurus: Annie Wilkes</image:title>
      <image:caption>Annie Wilkes is the kind of person who doesn't understand the phrase "it's not that serious." To Annie, it is that serious. The Misery books aren't just books to her. They are part of her routine and the world she has built for herself. When Paul decides to kill off the character, Annie takes it personally. That's what makes her feel so Taurus Moon to me. Once Annie decides something belongs in her life, she holds onto it tightly. The problem is life changes whether we like it or not, and Annie doesn't handle that well. Most people leave a bad book review and move on. Annie had other ideas.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Gemini: Ghost Face</image:title>
      <image:caption>One reason I love Ghostface for Gemini Moon is that Ghostface isn't a person. It's an identity passed from one killer to the next. Every time you think you've figured out who Ghostface is, the mask comes off and somebody else is underneath. Then it happens again. And again. The taunting, the games, the constant back and forth. Ghostface doesn't just kill people. Ghostface likes the conversation. There is always another version of the story, another perspective, another person hiding behind the mask. The real question with Ghostface is is less "Who is the killer?" and more "Which one?" Because apparently one Ghostface wasn't enough.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Cancer: Norman Bates</image:title>
      <image:caption>Norman Bates is what happens when the line between nurturing and control becomes completely blurred. Everything about Norman revolves around his relationship with his mother. Even after her death, she continues to shape his identity. There is no clear boundary between where Norman ends and where Mother begins. Norman takes Cancerian shadow traits to a terrifying extreme. What should have been a source of comfort becomes all consuming. At a certain point you have to ask, Norman, have you considered literally any coping mechanism besides this?</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/c2cd00c4-6786-4b73-bd0c-57fe823b7a72/6+%282%29.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Leo: Freddy Krueger</image:title>
      <image:caption>Okay, but how theatrical is Freddy? Talk about a guy with an imagination. This man comes up with some of the most ridiculous and over the top psychological scenarios imaginable. Half the time it feels like he's less interested in killing people and more interested in putting on a show. It's kind of self centered. Every nightmare revolves around him. That's part of why he reminds me of Leo Moon. Everything has to be more dramatic than necessary. Also, why does he do all of this while people are sleeping? Most people use dreams to process their emotions. Freddy uses them as a stage?</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/93c9851c-e12d-421f-9212-faccbda672d8/7+%282%29.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Virgo: Patrick Bateman</image:title>
      <image:caption>Patrick Bateman notices everything. He obsesses over business cards, reservations, status symbols, and the tiniest details that nobody else would even notice. Everything has to be just right. I mean, come on, his skincare routine has more steps than most people's morning commute. He's constantly measuring, comparing, analyzing, and finding flaws. Honestly, half the movie is Patrick having a meltdown because somebody else has a slightly nicer business card. This is a man who literally puts on a raincoat before murdering someone because he doesn't want blood on his clothes.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/8700e514-102a-4bee-807f-e0f472c13c90/8+%282%29.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Libra: Tiffany Valentine</image:title>
      <image:caption>Tiffany Valentine is so iconic. I mean, first and foremost, she's an absolute babe. But what really sells me on Tiffany as a Libra Moon is that The Bride of Chucky is basically one giant relationship story. Through an astrological lens, Libra is associated with partnership, commitment, and the deals we make with others. Tiffany spends the entire movie trying to build a relationship with Chucky, even when every possible sign is telling her that this is a terrible idea. The woman is literally trying to make a toxic relationship work with a serial killer doll. We have to acknowledge that the red flags were there. But like every good Libra coded individual, she thinks she can change him. Spoiler alert. She cannot. Still, Tiffany has that classic Libra charm. She's charismatic, romantic, and somehow manages to make even the most dysfunctional relationship look appealing for at least five minutes.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/5e9886b9-dc22-46fa-94e9-8590736574e4/9+%282%29.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Scorpio: Samara Morgan</image:title>
      <image:caption>At first, The Ring feels like a mystery. You watch the tape, weird things happen, and then people start dying? I mean, that is simple enough. Except the deeper you dig, the stranger it gets. What makes Samara feel so Scorpio Moon to me is that her real motive is buried underneath layers and layers of secrets. She isn't just killing people for no reason. She wants her story told. Even when you figure out what happened to her, the curse doesn't stop. The solution ends up being hidden inside the curse itself. And can we talk about how insane that is for a second? Nowhere in the tape does it say, "Make a copy and show it to someone else." People just eventually figure out that's the only way to survive. Everything about Samara is buried beneath the surface. Very Scorpio.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/fdeda55f-8b5a-47c0-8d28-52a2932b0409/10+%282%29.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Sagittarius: Pennywise</image:title>
      <image:caption>Pennywise is probably my wild card pick, but hear me out. Pennywise is a cosmic entity trapped in the same town, repeating the same cycle over and over again. Every few decades he wakes up, terrorizes the town, feeds, and then goes back to sleep. For a creature that is supposedly ancient and powerful, it's kind of a miserable existence. Sagittarius is associated with freedom, exploration, growth, and movement. Pennywise has none of those things. He's stuck. Same town. Same cycle. Same hunt. And who does he target? Children. The very people who represent freedom, imagination, curiosity, and possibility. Children still believe anything can happen. They haven't been boxed in by the world yet. There is something almost bitter about that. Like Pennywise sees everything he's lost reflected back at him. A spirit that can no longer grow, move, or evolve eventually becomes trapped in its own cycle. That is for sure the manifestation of a badly placed Sagittarius moon.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Capricorn: Michael Myers</image:title>
      <image:caption>If Michael Myers decides he's doing something, he's doing it. Michael just picks a target and keeps going. It doesn't matter how many times he's shot, stabbed, hit by a car, thrown off a building, or otherwise inconvenienced. The man simply refuses to quit. That is seriously giving Capricorn Moon determination. After a while it starts to get ridiculous. Every movie somebody thinks they've finally stopped him, looks away for five seconds, and then he's gone. Apparently Michael Myers always has somewhere to be.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Aquarius: Art the Clown</image:title>
      <image:caption>I really hate to hit a cliché, but Art? What an absolute weirdo. (In the best way.) I mean, come on. He's the ultimate alienesque horror villain. I've watched all the Terrifier movies multiple times, and I still don't entirely know what this guy's deal is. Where did he come from? What exactly is he? Why is he like this? That's part of why he reminds me of Aquarius Moon. Art feels completely disconnected from normal human behavior. Hell, he's not even normal demonic behavior. And yet he somehow manages to get a demonic follower in that creepy little girl, Art. Talk about 11th house influence. Half the time he seems like he's operating on a set of rules that only make sense to him. He's so unsettling. Most horror villains have motives you can eventually understand. Art just leaves you sitting there with more questions than answers.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Horror Icons as Moon Sign Archetypes - Pisces: Pearl</image:title>
      <image:caption>Pearl, Pearl, Pearl. Slightly delusional, huh? This girl has an entire life planned out in her head. She's going to be a star. She's going to leave the farm. She's going to have the life she deserves. The problem is that absolutely none of it is happening. Pearl Girl. You dreamin’. She spends so much time imagining the life she wants that she can't accept the one she's actually living. The more reality refuses to cooperate, the more disillusioned she becomes. Every rejection feels personal because it's crushing her fantasy. At some point, Pearl becomes more invested in the life she's imagined than the one sitting right in front of her. Pearly, you can’t start solving problems with an axe because you disappointed.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Aries: Hades</image:title>
      <image:caption>Hades is a hothead. No, literally, his head is on fire. For the shadow side of Aries, it doesn't get much more obvious than that. Hades is impatient, reactive, competitive, and absolutely incapable of letting things go when they don't go his way. Every setback becomes personal. His emotions move fast, and his temper moves even faster. The Mars energy comes through strongly in his communication style as well. No fluff, no sugar coating, and absolutely no beating around the bush. Hades says exactly what he thinks and expects everyone else to keep up. What makes him such a great Aries shadow is that he now weak, passive, or incapable. In fact, he's incredibly competent. His downfall is that his own anger, impulsiveness, and inability to control his reactions constantly sabotage him.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Taurus: Tamatoa</image:title>
      <image:caption>Okay, let me just be real for a second. Taurus was the hardest one for me to match to a villain because, frankly, the shadow side of Venus ruled Taurus is usually less dramatic than some of the other signs. It is more often a kind of mindless self indulgence. Sure, Tamatoa hits the greed and selfishness of loving all things shiny. That definitely demonstrates the luxury loving side of Taurus Moon. But I had to think a little deeper than that. I think what adds an even more emotionally complex layer to Taurus is attachment. Taurus does not like to let go. Whether it is possessions, comfort, pleasure, status, routines, or even old versions of itself, this sign can become deeply attached to what feels good and familiar. Tamatoa literally surrounds himself with treasures and builds his entire identity around what he owns. Strip away the comedy, and there is actually a pretty strong Taurus shadow there. The fear that without all the shiny things, there is nothing left underneath. And can I just say, the fact that he casually talks about eating his own grandma is both hilarious and somehow very Taurus Moon coded. If there is food involved, all bets are off.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Gemini: Yzma</image:title>
      <image:caption>I picked Yzma to show the shadow side of the Gemini Moon. She is talkative, intelligent, witty, and quick-thinking, but also shows how those gifts can manipulate others. While after Kuzco’s throne, she presents herself as a loyal advisor and friend while secretly plotting. This is where the Mercury energy comes through. Gemini is associated with communication, strategy, ideas, and adaptability. Yzma is constantly thinking, planning, and finding a new way forward when things do not go as planned. Her mind is her greatest weapon. The shadow side appears when intelligence turns into schemes and communication becomes deception. Yzma shows the darker expression of using words, knowledge, and perception not to connect, but to control the situation around her.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Cancer: Lady Tremaine</image:title>
      <image:caption>I know that sounds strange at first. Most people hear Cancer Moon and immediately think nurturing, gentle, and protective. Lady Tremaine shows what happens when those instincts become possessive, resentful, and emotionally controlling. Everything she does revolves around family loyalty. Her daughters come first, whether they deserve what she tries to give them or not. She views Cinderella as a threat to their security and status, which fuels her cruelty. What stands out is how passive her villainy feels. She doesn’t charge into battle or seek power for its own sake. She operates through guilt, obligation, emotional pressure, and manipulation. She controls the home’s atmosphere and uses that control to keep Cinderella in her place.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Leo: Gaston</image:title>
      <image:caption>This one is pretty clear. Gaston is pure Leo Moon shadow to me. He is showy, boastful, attention hungry, and consumed by his own ego. He genuinely believes that because everyone else wants him, Belle should, too. In his mind, rejection is insulting. He cannot handle it. Instead of accepting that Belle is not interested, he turns her rejection into a personal insult. He plots an entire revenge scheme to hurt Belle as his feelings were hurt, all while presenting himself as the hero. In his mind, he is still the good guy. He still deserves admiration, praise, and the happy ending. Gaston cannot handle not being desired, so he turns humiliation into revenge. He does not just want Belle. He wants validation as the man Belle chose. Once he loses that, his obsession becomes restoring his pride.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Virgo: The Evil Queen</image:title>
      <image:caption>Virgo Moons are often associated with improvement, refinement, and high standards. The shadow side is that those standards can become impossible to satisfy. Nobody embodies this better than the Evil Queen. Her downfall begins with one question that she didnt like the answer to. She needs constant confirmation that she is the fairest in the land. When she learns that someone else has surpassed her, she becomes obsessed. What stands out is how calculated she is. Her plans are deliberate and carefully executed. She does not act out of raw emotion. Snow White was never really the problem. It was the Queen's inability to accept imperfection.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Libra: Cruella de Vil</image:title>
      <image:caption>Cruella was another easy one. She's stylish, iconic, charming, and obsessed with aesthetics. Sure, her choices get her into a tizzy, but at the end of the day, she's just a girl who wants to make a fashion statement. Obviously, the way she plans to achieve that goal is morally questionable, but her motivations are surprisingly simple. She wants beauty. She wants luxury. She wants to create something unforgettable. Her charm has her henchmen completely at her beck and call. Despite her outrageous demands, people still follow her. There is something undeniably magnetic about her. The desire to create something beautiful becomes more important than the people or puppies it affects.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Scorpio: Dr. Facilier</image:title>
      <image:caption>A lot of Disney villains want power, but Dr. Facilier understands it. He knows where people's weaknesses lie. He gives them what they think they want and lets them walk into the trap themselves. What makes him such a Scorpio Moon to me is his relationship with hidden forces. He operates in the shadows, works through secrets, and constantly deals in debts, exchanges, and consequences. Everything has a price. His connection to the occult world reinforces this archetype. He willingly works with powers most people fear, treating the unseen as a tool to gain influence and control. He is also patient. He does not need to be the loudest person in the room because he knows he can influence events from behind the curtain. He understands the darker side of human nature and uses that knowledge for his own gain.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Sagittarius: Captain Hook</image:title>
      <image:caption>I think Hook shows us the shadow side of this archetype. He is restless, larger-than-life, and constantly chasing something just out of reach. What stands out is that Hook cannot let go of the hunt. His entire life revolves around pursuing Peter Pan. He could be sailing the seas, exploring new horizons, and living freely, but instead he becomes consumed by a personal crusade. The irony is that the sign most associated with freedom becomes trapped by obsession. There is something very Sagittarius Moon about his theatrical nature. Hook is dramatic, expressive, and convinced his perspective is correct. He sees himself as the wronged party and turns that belief into a lifelong mission. The search for meaning becomes the inability to move on.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Capricorn: Jafar</image:title>
      <image:caption>More than anything, Jafar wants to climb. He is not satisfied with influence, proximity to power, or being the Sultan's advisor. He wants to be at the top. Every decision he makes aims to gain more authority, more control, and a higher position than he currently holds. That ambition is what makes him such a Capricorn moon to me. Unlike villains driven by emotion or revenge, Jafar feels more calculated, with his eyes fixed on power. Even when he gains power, he immediately wants more. Nothing is ever enough because there is always another rung to climb.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/29e2eb34-d78b-4889-ba8e-af86481db68c/12.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Aquarius: Maleficent</image:title>
      <image:caption>What immediately stands out about Maleficent is that she doesn't seem interested in being part of the kingdom. She lives separately, does her own thing, and follows her own rules. There is a strong outsider quality to her that feels very Aquarius Moon. And honestly, what could be more Aquarius Moon than showing up to a party you weren't invited to and cursing a baby? It is such an unconventional response. Most villains would start a fight or demand revenge right away. Maleficent creates a curse that unfolds over years and changes the course of everyone's lives. She carries herself with emotional distance. She often feels removed from what is happening around her, almost like observing everything from the outside rather than participating. The desire to stand apart becomes the belief that normal rules do not apply to you.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/6840dbb3d009666c7aadca18/01be2296-b425-4725-867f-6029b3a1d9d9/13.png</image:loc>
      <image:title>Archetype Archive - Disney Villains as Moon Sign Archetypes - Pisces: Ursula</image:title>
      <image:caption>Now, I know. Y'all are going to come for me and say, "Del, why isn't Ursula Scorpio Moon?" Hear me out. She's a Pisces Moon. When I think of Ursula, I don't think about power, revenge, or control first. I think about temptation, fantasy, dreams, and escape. Ursula makes a living selling people the life they wish they had. She paints a picture of a different reality and lets Ariel convince herself. That's what feels so Pisces Moon to me. Ursula understands longing, desire, and the part of people that wants something so badly they ignore every warning sign. She is also incredibly fluid. She adapts to whoever she's talking to, tells people exactly what they want to hear, and slips into different roles when it benefits her. There is something shapeshifting about her energy that feels much more Pisces than Scorpio to me. The real danger with Ursula isn't that she overpowers people. It's that she gets them to willingly hand over exactly what she wants.</image:caption>
